The textbook describes the location and use of oil systems in aircraft engines, operating conditions of oil systems, their main physical, mechanical and performance properties, oil and synthetic properties, conditions and installation schemes for oil systems. Single-circuit, double-circuit and short-circuit oil systems are studied. The specifics of the operation of the helicopter oil system and the factors affecting it at altitude are considered.
